A short documentary following Alvin Ailey Dance Foundation’s program AileyDance for Active Aging, a program to reach a cherished population in accommodating and accessible environments.
This special program invites community’s elders to keep moving through dance classes that guide them to tell their own stories and use their imagination to create choreography as a group. Every class fosters a sense of respect, appreciation, and opportunities to make new friends, while experiencing the benefits dance has on their well-being.
